If I asked 10 people in a room what being fit means to them, I’m sure I would have 10 different answers! Responses may vary from – being able to consistently workout, looking toned and muscular, having cardiovascular endurance, strength and flexibility, feeling good and having lots of energy – and the list goes on.
In the end, being fit ultimately refers to your own optimal health and overall well being. Fitness pertains to all aspects of your life – physical, emotional and mental.
To me “fitness is a habit“. It is something we should include as part of our daily routine. It doesn’t have to be done everyday, but it should be done regularly and consistently. It’s not about being skinny, it’s not about setting goals on what you want to weigh, it’s not about how you look…it’s all about wanting to be in the best shape your life and feeling good about yourself. We should work out because we love our bodies, not because we hate them.
So here’s to building a new you where fitness is or becomes “a habit” and a lifestyle. Make your journey about feeling strong, confident, and healthy. Let’s take care of our bodies inside out – after all “the best project you’ll ever work on is YOU”!
Stay Active…Eat Clean…Be FITTastic.
